Plankle is made and run by one small team. Mail reaches a person, not a ticket queue, so give it a day or two.

Every daily puzzle is checked to have exactly one answer before it ships, so a puzzle that looks impossible is usually a puzzle with a machine order nobody has spotted yet. But bugs happen. If you think one is genuinely wrong, tell us the puzzle number from under the Plankle wordmark and, if you can, what the plank looked like when you gave up.
Records live in your browser and nowhere else, so there is no copy for us to restore. Clearing site data, switching browsers or playing in a private window all start you from zero. Sorry — it is the price of a game that needs no account. There is more about this on the privacy page.
New machines are welcome and harder to add than they look: any machine has to combine with the existing ones in a way that still leaves each puzzle with exactly one answer. If you have one in mind, describe what it does to the plank and we will run it through the checker.
Anything about what the site stores or measures — including a request to delete analytics data — goes to the same address. See the privacy policy for what there is to delete, which is very little.
